YouTube personality Tavarish created the hype around the Pacifica Hellcat. Dodge and Chrysler have not expressed any interest in producing the model as a part of their Hellcat lineup. The Pacifica Hellcat specifications and other details will be announced at the New York Auto Show 2022.

YouTuber Tavarish is set to build the car with the support of Classic Car Club Manhattan and eBay Motors.

What can we expect from the Pacifica Hellcat?

Speculations surrounding the use of Dodge Hellcat-powered Pacifica started back in 2016 when Chrysler designer Ralph Giles posted the people-hauler render on social media.

When Dodge announced that they will not be producing the Hellcat minivan, it was then that Tavarish decided to take it upon himself to build this performance utility vehicle. He posted the latest renders on social media with the hashtag #SEMA2022, suggesting that the car might be ready for an unveiling at the tuning car show hosted in Las Vegas.

Hellcat Vs. The Standard model

Pacifica Hellcat and Standard

The Pacifica minivan produces 287 hp through a 3.6 Liter V6 engine. It is capable of propelling the van from 0-100 km/h in just over 8 seconds. On the other hand, the Hellcat Pacifica, will carry a Dodge Hellcat engine. This seems to be an engineering challenge. Since the design of a standard Chrysler Pacifica minivan is built to accommodate a transversely-mounted engine as opposed to a non-longitudinal Hemi V8. Despite such challenges, the optimism is that Tavarish is capable of building this mega machine.

If powered by the Challenger Demon V8, the Hellcat Pacific is sure to put out some staggering performance figures. The Demon V8 punches out 840 hp and sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. But, due to weight differences, the quarter-mile speeds may vary. The Pacifica Hellcat has a 6-speed manual transmission from the SRT Hellcat. It also has its current 8-speed automatic transmission as an option. The Hellcat engines have been known to bring Muscle cars into the Supercar territory, going against the likes of high-performance cars like Lamborghini, Ferrari and whatnot!

Pacifica 2022 – The Hellcat van

From what we have gathered so far regarding the van, the design of Pacifica Hellcat is in its conceptual stage. Renders of the minivan seem promising for motorheads who enjoy driving performance-oriented Super Utility Vehicles and Multi-Utility Vehicles. With Tavarish’s aim to get the car from design to reality, all we can do is wait for the SEMA Auto Show for more updates on the van.
